Divorce & Co-Parenting Coaching in Pennsylvania

Not everyone going through a divorce or custody matter needs full legal representation. Sometimes what you need is an experienced guide, someone who can help you understand the process, prepare for what’s ahead, and make better decisions at every step. That is what divorce and co-parenting coaching is about.

Pamela Purdy offers consulting sessions for individuals who want practical, informed guidance without the cost and commitment of traditional legal representation. With more than 26 years of experience in Pennsylvania family law, she has helped hundreds of families navigate divorce, custody, and co-parenting challenges. Coaching draws on that experience to help you approach your situation with clarity and confidence.

What Coaching Looks Like

Coaching sessions are private, one-on-one conversations focused on your specific situation. Unlike traditional legal representation, Pamela does not file documents on your behalf, appear in court for you, or negotiate directly with the other party. Instead, she helps you understand what to expect from the legal process in Pennsylvania, organize your finances and documents before filing, think through custody arrangements that will actually work for your family’s daily life, prepare for mediation, settlement conferences, or court appearances, develop communication strategies for dealing with a difficult co-parent, and adjust your parenting plan as your children grow and circumstances change.

Sessions can be scheduled individually or as part of a package. Coaching is available in person at our Lemoyne office or by video conference.

Coaching Packages

Divorce Readiness Session. A single 90-minute session designed for individuals who are considering divorce or have recently been served. Pamela walks you through the process, helps you identify what documents and information you need to gather, and answers your questions about what lies ahead. You leave with a clear action plan and a realistic understanding of your options.

Co-Parenting Reset. A three-session package for parents who are struggling with communication, schedule conflicts, or transitions after separation. Pamela helps you build a practical co-parenting framework that minimizes conflict and puts your children first. This package includes a written co-parenting communication guide tailored to your family.

Ongoing Consulting.Hourly sessions available on an as-needed basis for individuals who want a trusted advisor they can call when new issues arise; a new partner entering the picture, a proposed relocation, a teenager who wants to change the custody schedule, or any of the other challenges that come with co-parenting over the long term.

Who Coaching is Designed For

Coaching is a good fit for individuals who want experienced guidance but do not need or want full legal representation, people in the early stages of considering divorce who want to understand the process before making any decisions, self-represented litigants who need help preparing their case, and co-parents who want to improve their communication and reduce conflict without going back to court. Coaching is not legal representation, and Pamela will be upfront with you if your situation calls for an attorney rather than a coach.
